Hu Binchen, male, Han ethnicity, was born in December 1971. He has an in-service postgraduate diploma and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Scope of Authority

He is responsible for public security, judicial affairs, legal system, and public complaints and proposals.

He oversees all affairs of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Public Security. He is in charge of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Justice, Jiangsu Provincial Public Complaints and Proposals Administration, and Jiangsu Prison Administration.

He is in contact with Jiangsu Provincial Department of National Security, and Jiangsu Exit-entry Border Inspection Station.
