In 2025, Jiangsu focused on developing high-quality cultural offerings and improving tourism services, achieving new progress in building a culturally strong province and a globally important tourist destination.

Jiangsu introduced a three-year action plan for high-quality cultural and tourism development and an action plan for smart tourism innovation. High-standard development of the Yangtze River and the Grand Canal National Cultural Park Jiangsu sections continued, further enhancing the appeal of the “Charm of Jiangsu” brand. The “Suchao” Jiangsu Football City League became a nationwide sensation, while brand campaigns such as “Tour Jiangsu with Suchao” generated strong momentum. The province recorded more than 1.204 billion visits from domestic and overseas tourists, up by 10.4% year on year.
