He is responsible for industry, information technology, state-owned assets administration, market supervision and regulation, medical products administration, and intellectual property rights.

He is in charge of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Jiangsu Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Jiangsu Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Administration, Jiangsu Provincial Office of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and Jiangsu Provincial Medical Products Administration.

He is in contact with Jiangsu Provincial Communications Administration, and China Tobacco Jiangsu.
