From September 3 to 5, the 2026 Low-Altitude Economy Development Conference was held in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, under the theme “Co-creating a Safe New Low-Altitude Ecosystem and Forging a New Pillar for High-Quality Development”.

Delegations from nine cities and districts along the corridor gathered at the conference: Songjiang in Shanghai; Hangzhou in Zhejiang; Suzhou in Jiangsu; Hefei, Wuhu and Xuancheng in Anhui; and Jiaxing, Huzhou and Jinhua in Zhejiang. The governments of the nine cities and districts jointly released the Joint Action Initiative on Low-Altitude Safety of the Cities along the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Innovation Corridor.

The initiative addresses six priority dimensions, including regulating flight operations in urban scenarios, so as to build a comprehensive safety shield.

The release of the initiative marks the first institutional exploration of cross-regional coordinated governance in the low-altitude economy along the corridor.

Since its founding one year ago, the G60 Low-Altitude Economy Collaborative Innovation Alliance has delivered notable results, now bringing together more than 300 organizations in such fields as low-altitude manufacturing, infrastructure, research institutes, scenario application and supporting services.

Since the beginning of this year, the G60 Joint Office has, through the alliance, been deeply involved in compiling the professional textbook An Introduction to the Low-Altitude Economy; worked with Purple Mountain Laboratories, China Tower (Shanghai) and other organizations to explore the “low-altitude economy + pre-positioned cargo station” application at the pre-positioned cargo station of the Songjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone; joined hands with SF Express and China Tower in planning cross-regional low-altitude logistics routes; and hosted an industry matchmaking conference in Deqing, Zhejiang, to promote the deep integration of industrial and innovation chains.

Going forward, the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor will continue to leverage the alliance to take the lead in piloting regional low-altitude safety standards formulation, cross-provincial route trials, services for enterprises going global, and interconnectivity between low-altitude regulatory platforms, contributing experience and solutions to the development of the low-altitude economy nationwide.
