On September 17, the Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue 2026 took place at the Sino-Germany (Changzhou) Innovation Industry Park (SGIP). New and old friends from political and business arenas of China and Germany gathered under the theme of “Promoting Energy Transition for Shared Green Development” to discuss opportunities in energy transition and explore pathways for green cooperation.  

This marks the sixth edition of Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue hosted in Changzhou, where eight China-Germany cooperation projects were unveiled on-site. The Sino-Germany Park Service Platform for Incubating German Enterprises was inaugurated. It will provide full-chain professional services for more German small- and medium-sized enterprises to settle in China, realize technology transfer and explore new markets.

As a key platform for China-Germany cooperation, the SGIP welcomed its 100th settled enterprise, PINK GmbH Vakuumtechnik. Headquartered in Wertheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, PINK GmbH Vakuumtechnik is a global hidden champion specializing in vacuum thermal systems and semiconductor packaging equipment. It will set up a technology laboratory in Jintan to conduct in-depth technology promotion, market development and after-sales services. Going forward, Changzhou will continue to leverage the strengths of the Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue to deliver more cooperation projects, serving as a benchmark for China-Germany subnational cooperation.  

Changzhou ranks among the province’s front-runners in economic, trade and cultural exchanges with Germany. It has established seven sister-city ties with German cities, accounting for nearly one-third of Jiangsu’s total, and nearly 300 German-invested enterprises have settled in the city.
