The list of exemplary smart PV cases was announced recently by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the National Energy Administration. The 73 cases that made the final list were singled out through a procedure of provincial-level recommendations, expert evaluation, and online public notification. Jiangsu and Henan tied for first place, with eight cases each.

The selected cases, which span key areas such as solar-plus-storage, BIPV, and transportation PV and cover mainstream application scenarios and cutting-edge technologies, fully reflect the latest development of China’s smart PV industry as they offer fine examples of deep integration of smart PV technologies with multiple sectors of the real economy.

The eight projects from Jiangsu are: Huai’an East Railway Station Solar-Storage-Charge-Discharge Energy Station Project, Tiexinqiao Service Station of Nanjing Comprehensive Transportation Energy Service Center, Smart Energy AI Hub Microgrid Project of LongShine Technology Industrial Park, Dongtai Digital Low-Carbon Park Project, Research and Application of Key Technologies for Source-Grid-Load-Storage Integrated Park Microgrid Cluster, Full-size High-efficiency Perovskite PV Modules, GoodWe Smart Energy Building, and Cluster of PV Product Verification & Testing Bases for Full-scale Typical Scenarios and the Related Technical Service System.

They embody Jiangsu’s remarkable progress in transportation PV, low-carbon park development, and the application of advanced PV technologies.
