updated on:2026-08-11 08:58

On August 8, the finals of the third “Huichuan Cup” National Intelligent Automation Innovation Competition took place in Suzhou’s Wuzhong Taihu New City. A total of 262 teams from 170 universities nationwide advanced to the finals, competing in categories including innovative development, industrial automation, AI vision, digital twins, and industrial technology breakthroughs.

The competition adopted a model of “industry setting the questions and universities providing the solutions”, with enterprises across the smart manufacturing ecosystem participating in the design of competition topics. Through a challenge-based commissioning mechanism, the competition encouraged students to address real-world industrial challenges, focusing on their engineering capabilities and innovative thinking, while providing a hands-on platform for cultivating high-caliber talent. During the competition, participants got into real industrial scenarios, applying their expertise in control systems, software, algorithms, and system integration to solve practical problems and accelerate the application of innovative achievements in industry. Alongside the finals, a series of supporting activities were held, including campus recruitment presentations, a talent exchange fair, and visits to the Industrial Control Museum. A seminar on “Joint Training of Next-Generation Smart Manufacturing Talent” and a roundtable forum on “Building a New Ecosystem for Industry-Education Collaborative Talent Development” were also organized.
