Five Jiangsu Projects Pass Assessment in National Intelligent Manufacturing Open Competition

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration for Market Regulation recently released the list of projects that passed the acceptance assessment for the 2023 Intelligent Manufacturing System Solution Open Competition, a mechanism designed to select outstanding candidates for undertaking key research tasks. After expert appraisal, spot inspection and re-acceptance, and public notice, a total of 130 projects nationwide passed assessment, five of which hail from Jiangsu Province.

The 2023 competition targeted the construction demands of smart factories and intelligent supply chains in core industries. Centered on 21 priority fields of intelligent manufacturing system solutions, the initiative strives to identify and foster market leaders with proprietary core technologies and robust independent innovation capacities, while developing advanced, practical and highly replicable intelligent manufacturing system solutions for widespread industrial rollout.

The five Jiangsu projects span electronic equipment, aerospace equipment, complete vehicles and auto core parts, as well as the iron and steel industry. The roster includes: Digital Solution for Battery Cell Manufacturing Equipment by BOZHON Precision Industry Technology Co., Ltd.; Model-Based Intelligent Collaborative Design and Verification Solution for Complex Products by Suzhou Tongyuan Software & Control Technology Co., Ltd.; Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Solution for Centrifuges Used in Automotive Battery Manufacturing by Jiangsu Saideli Pharmaceutical Machinery Co., Ltd.; Digital Twin Factory Solution by Jiangsu Jinheng Technology Co., Ltd.; and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Solution for Solar Cell Manufacturing Equipment by Suzhou Maxwell Technologies Co., Ltd.

Going forward, Jiangsu will step up demonstration and application of these certified projects, and roll out supporting policy incentives to boost their large-scale promotion and deployment.
