Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Nanjing. This partnership marks the establishment of the CCID (Jiangsu) Advanced Manufacturing Research Center. The signing was witnessed by Liu Xiaotao, Governor of Jiangsu Province.

According to the agreement, by leveraging the concerted efforts of both parties, the Center is expected to deliver high-quality research outcomes to boost industrial development and offer sustained decision-making support for Jiangsu to implement national strategies, including building a manufacturing powerhouse, developing an “Internet Power”, and driving the Digital China initiative.

Liu Xiaotao expressed gratitude to the CCID for its strong support for Jiangsu’s development. He said that Jiangsu is acting on the guiding principle of President Xi Jinping’s important addresses, accelerating the development of a modern industrial system characterized by a strong advanced manufacturing sector, which will facilitate the intelligent, green and integrated development in the province. Jiangsu hopes to draw on the CCID’s expertise in policy guidance and advisory services to better serve the national strategies and develop an advanced manufacturing cluster.

Vice Governor Shen Jianrong and Secretary General Zhao Jianjun of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government were also present.
