This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Jiangsu-Liaoning partnership. From July 10 to 11, led by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, a delegation consisting of tourism authorities and key tourism enterprises from the 13 prefecture-level cities visited Dalian and Shenyang in Liaoning to launch the 2026 “Charm of Jiangsu: A Joyful Summer” domestic tourism promotion week. Through a variety of activities, including creative roadshows, immersive performances, exclusive discount offers, local specialty exhibitions, interactive games, and briefings on tailor-made travel routes, Jiangsu extended a heartfelt invitation to the people of Liaoning to enjoy a refreshing summer getaway in Jiangsu.

Four summer travel routes especially designed for the event highlight Jiangsu’s signature cultural tourism assets. To make the offer more attractive, the 13 cities in Jiangsu have rolled out multiple incentives, including free or discounted admissions, accommodation deals, exclusive “Suchao” football league benefits, and consumption subsidies. Meanwhile, major OTA platforms—Ctrip, Tongcheng, and Tuniu—have launched a full-spectrum summer subsidy package covering flights, hotels, scenic attractions, and study tours, catering to diverse needs from cultural exploration and family trip to sports tourism. Notably, the “Million Students Visiting Jiangsu” initiative made its debut outside Jiangsu. This initiative is expected to benefit students nationwide, who will be enjoying an exciting mix of summer experiences such as study tours, sports events, water recreation, and nighttime sightseeing with ticket discounts as well as travel and consumption subsidies.

Nearly 100 leading tourism enterprises from Jiangsu and Liaoning took part in the event, which also saw the official launch of the “Connected by Mountains and Waters, Journeying Together” campaign, offering exclusive benefits to people of both provinces.
