On June 12, at the 2026 AI Storage Industry (Changzhou) Development Conference, the West Taihu Lake (Changzhou) Advanced Storage Industrial Park was officially unveiled, marking the full establishment of Changzhou’s industrial upgrade chain from “power” to “computing power” to “storage power”.
The West Taihu Lake (Changzhou) Advanced Storage Industrial Park will coordinate with the West Taihu Lake (Changzhou) Artificial Intelligence Community, adopting a “two zones with multiple bases” spatial layout. Anchored on three strategic goals—“a leading integrated storage manufacturing hub in the Yangtze River Delta, a domestic cradle for the commercialization of frontier storage technologies, and a demonstration area for an open and win-win integrated development ecosystem”—the park will center on “advanced storage, new storage, and future storage”. It will focus on five sub-sectors: industrial-grade storage, automotive-grade storage, new storage, AIoT storage, and storage modules/systems. It aims to build a domestically leading AI storage research, pilot-scale testing, module manufacturing, and application demonstration base within 3–5 years, achieving an industrial scale of 10 billion yuan.
On the same day, the West Taihu Lake (Changzhou) New Storage Medium Innovation Center was officially unveiled, and Beijing Memblaze Technology Co., Ltd. (Yiheng Chuangyuan) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park Management Committee. Additionally, the 2026 Data Storage Industry Ecosystem Map V2.0 was released, and the “Exploring Advanced Storage Capacity—Yangtze River Delta Leg” series of activities was launched.
