On June 13, which marked “Cultural and Natural Heritage Day”, all ticketed sections of Nanjing’s City Wall of the Ming Dynasty (including Taicheng, Zhonghuamen Barbican, the Shence Gate–Taiping Gate section, and the Dongshui Pass–Jiqing Gate section, among others) were uniformly opened to the public free of charge.
