On June 7, the “Gathering Youth Innovation, Empowering Project Implementation” roadshow and resource matchmaking conference was held in Zhenjiang. As a key supporting event for the Jiangsu provincial trials of the 15th “Challenge Cup” China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, the roadshow aimed to build an efficient matchmaking platform to facilitate the transformation and implementation of outstanding entrepreneurial projects in Zhenjiang.

Hosted by the Communist Youth League Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Zhenjiang Municipal People’s Government and Jiangsu University, the event attracted executives of venture capital investment institutions and professional managers from inside and outside the province as well as representatives of relevant local authorities of Zhenjiang to witness the vitality of young innovators and entrepreneurs.

After preliminary screening, 67 premier projects were shortlisted into the roadshow, covering biomedicine, smart transport, chip innovation, and environmental protection technology. A jury composed of 26 professional managers and investors from inside and outside the province commented on the roadshow projects, with a focus on the viability of business models and implementation roadmaps. During the subsequent free negotiation session, heads of investment promotion offices and state-owned platform companies from all the county-level cities and districts of Zhenjiang held in-depth exchanges with innovators and entrepreneurs, with preliminary cooperation intentions reached for a number of projects.
