Recently, the China Jiangsu Service Trade Expo (JSSTE) 2026 concluded successfully at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Malaysia. Hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce, this edition marks the fourth consecutive year our province has held this international, market-oriented and professional brand service trade event in Kuala Lumpur. The expo drew large crowds with brisk business negotiations, fully demonstrating the diversity and competitiveness of the “New Services of Jiangsu”.

Under the theme “Sharing Services, Sowing Successes”, the expo spanned an exhibition area of approximately 3,000 square meters, and features over 70 premier enterprises and institutions from Nanjing, Suzhou, Changzhou, Nantong, Huai’an and Yancheng across key sectors such as digital trade, cultural specialties, Traditional Chinese Medicine and IPR service, engaging nearly 3,000 professional participants from Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indonesia and other countries in targeted matchmaking and in-depth exchanges. It provided an important platform for economic and trade cooperation between Jiangsu and Malaysia as well as coordinated regional development.

Participants from home and abroad experienced cutting-edge technological achievements from Jiangsu such as artificial intelligence and digital platforms, and appreciated intangible cultural heritage handicrafts including Suzhou embroidery, Chinese nut-carving and sachets, and sampled Huaiyang cuisine, premium tea and other local delicacies, gaining immersive insight into the profound cultural heritage and innovative dynamism of Jiangsu’s service industry. Exhibiting enterprises seized overseas business opportunities, took the initiative to connect with the overseas market, and secured a batch of substantial high-value trade deals on site.

To deepen industrial coordination between Jiangsu and Malaysia and boost targeted supply-demand matchmaking, Jiangsu-Malaysia Digital Trade Matchmaking Conference was held during the expo, facilitating face-to-face exchanges and targeted pairing for over 40 enterprises from both sides. This edition of the expo further supported a number of premium Jiangsu service business models and benchmark projects in establishing a presence in the ASEAN.
