updated on:2026-05-06 08:08

Recently, the China Mobile (Taizhou) AI Computing Center project, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, broke ground in Hailing District, Taizhou City, marking a new chapter in the city’s computing infrastructure development and injecting fresh momentum into its AI growth.

Located in the Hailing Industrial Park and covering 19.8 mu (approx. 13,200 m2), the AI Computing Center will be designed according to the industrys highest Class-A standards, featuring cutting-edge AI computing clusters and an efficient, lossless network architecture. It will house over one thousand high-performance servers, ensuring high efficiency and reliability. The project will also adhere to green and low-carbon principles, adopting new technologies and equipment to strike a balance between high computing power and energy conservation and carbon reduction.

At present, Taizhou is actively promoting the AI+ initiative as a key lever to drive the future-oriented transformation of its industries and the localization of future industries, and accelerating the development of new quality productive forces. As a digital engine for the development of new quality productive forces in Taizhou, the AI Computing Center will provide solid AI computing support for the transformation of traditional manufacturing industries and the innovation of emerging sectors such as biomedicine and new energy. It will help optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency, while continuously unlocking the value of data as a production factor. The center will also attract internet enterprises in areas such as cloud gaming and AI, fostering a digital economy ecosystem and creating industrial clustering effects.
