Recently, the “Smart Manufacturing Goes Global: Jiangsu-Hong Kong Collaboration” Forum on Jiangsu Enterprises’ International Development was held in Nanjing, jointly organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Approximately 100 representatives from various professional service institutions in Hong Kong and key Jiangsu enterprises joined the event.

During the forum, R&T Consulting Group, Deloitte, Standard Chartered Bank, and ONC Lawyers respectively delivered keynote speeches on overseas tax structures, IPOs in Hong Kong, cross-border finance, and legal risk prevention. Representatives from Jiangsu enterprises such as XCMG, DSBJ, and Yangzhou Yangjie Electronic Technology shared their experience and achievements in the global market.

Hong Kong is an important gateway for Jiangsu enterprises to enter the global market, with its mature financial services, professional support systems, and global trade networks complementing Jiangsu’s strong smart manufacturing capabilities, complete industrial layout, and outstanding technological innovation advantages. This creates favorable conditions for deepening Jiangsu-Hong Kong cooperation and jointly supporting enterprises in going global. Li Feng, Deputy Director General of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and Inspector at Level 1, stated that the Department will continue to strengthen service support for Jiangsu enterprises going global, helping them leverage smart technologies and Hong Kong as a bridge to pursue collective growth, while ensuring integrity and full compliance. Lyu Jian, East China Chief Representative of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, noted that the Council will leverage the “Special Task Force for Mainland Enterprises Going Global” mechanism to build a professional service platform, helping Jiangsu enterprises refine their internationalization strategies.
