On April 25, Jiangsu “AI+” Energy Integration Development Conference was held in Nanjing. Vice Governor Shen Jianrong attended and addressed the conference.

Vice Governor Shen Jianrong noted that AI is rapidly penetrating all aspects of the energy chain, from production to consumption, injecting strong momentum into the province’s green energy transition and high-quality economic and social development. He called on all parties to work together, acting as sources of technological innovation, architects of scenario application, and pioneers of industrial ecology, in order to explore a replicable new path for the integrated development of the “AI+” energy industry.

At the conference, a representative from Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission reviewed the province’s achievements in green energy transition and digital-intelligent empowerment. Tan Jianrong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Hu Ming, Party Secretary of the Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute, delivered trend analyses on the integration of AI and the energy industry during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Several corporate leaders shared practical application cases and typical scenarios in the “AI+” energy sector. The signing ceremony for the province’s first batch of specialized LLM service providers and application service providers in the vertical field of “AI+” energy was held on site. Jiangsu Guoxin Investment Group and the People’s Government of Gulou District, Nanjing City, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the high-quality development of “AI+” energy sector. On the same day, the Jiangsu Green Energy Building was officially inaugurated, and the Innovation Alliance of Jiangsu Green Energy Industry Core Cluster was established.
