To fully leverage the exemplary and leading role of provincial state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in scenario cultivation and open application, a launch conference for AI application scenarios of provincial SOEs was held in Nanjing on April 17. Vice Governor Shen Jianrong attended the event and initiated the launch.

At the conference, an official from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission elaborated on Jiangsu’s AI policy framework. Ten provincial SOEs, including Jiangsu Guoxin Group and Jiangsu Communications Holding, shared their practical explorations and needs for scenario development in the AI field. Universities and enterprises, including the School of Artificial Intelligence of Nanjing University, Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, AISpeech, and Luculent Smart Technologies, showcased their cutting-edge research, innovative products, and professional AI solutions. A total of 67 high-value AI application scenarios from 21 provincial SOEs were officially released at the event, involving an estimated construction investment of 350 million yuan. Spanning multiple sectors such as energy, transportation, agriculture, environmental protection, unmanned operations, and computing power scheduling, these scenarios reflect genuine operational needs and pain points. They have been compiled into a requirements list and are now open to the public for technical solution proposals. Following the conference, provincial SOEs engaged in on-site supply-demand matching discussions with attendees. Driven by these scenarios, the goal is to translate more cooperation intentions into tangible projects and harness new AI technologies, products, and models to facilitate the transformation and development of provincial SOEs, thereby better serving the province’s overall development.
