The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released the Typical Application Practices for 5G Factories in 2025, including 100 application practices for 5G factories which are selected for their technological advancement and trendsetting role, covering key industrial sectors such as raw materials, equipment manufacturing, consumer goods, electronic information, and energy and transportation. Among them, 25 5G factories are from Jiangsu.

The 100 typical application practices are based on projects selected from thousands of 5G factories nationwide. Statistics show that these 100 5G factories have, on average, increased production capacity by 24.7%, reduced operating costs by 18.4%, and improved product quality by 20.5%. They have effectively improved the quality and efficiency, and fueled the green development of the manufacturing industry.

Projects from Jiangsu are selected in four categories. In the raw materials category, eight factories are selected, including the 5G Factory of Zenith Steel Group (Nantong) Co., Ltd.; in the equipment manufacturing category, seven are selected, including Suzhou Haoxin 5G Factory of Suzhou Haoxin Precision Technology Co., Ltd.; in the consumer goods category, four are selected, including Jiangsu Ruida 5G Smart Factory; and in the electronic information category, six are selected, including Yancheng Weixin Electronics Flexible Circuit Board Smart Manufacturing 5G Factory.
