The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has recently announced the 2025 pilot list for the industrialization of high-tech achievements under the National Key R&D Program. The list includes 67 pilot achievements and 108 pilot entities, with three achievements and 18 entities hailing from Jiangsu Province.
The pilot achievements span seven major categories. In High-End Functional and Intelligent Materials, Nanjing University of Science and Technology’s “high-sensitivity entropy-regulated amorphous alloy stress-impedance strain gauge for earthquake disaster prevention in buildings” was selected. In Intelligent Sensors, high-performance acoustic components and sensors from Wuxi Micro-Sensory Electronics and new high-performance MEMS gas sensors from Suzhou Huiwen Nano Technology Co., Ltd. were included. The pilot entities fall into four categories: seven regional entities (including Wuxi Science and Technology Bureau and the Administrative Committee of Changzhou National High-tech District), seven industrialization implementation enterprises (such as Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel and Yinbang Clad Material), three third-party service providers (including Wuxi Industrial Innovation Research Institute), and the Jiangsu Equity Exchange Center in the financial services category.
The pilot program will run for two years. Pilot entities are required to refine and implement their execution plans to ensure targets are met on schedule. Provincial regulatory departments are urged to increase policy support and summarize progress and best practices. Upon completion of the pilot period, MIIT will organize a formal evaluation.
