The 2025 list of top 100 Jiangsu manufacturing enterprises by invention patent ownership was recently released. Enterprises on the list all possess over 100 invention patents each, with nine of them holding over 1,000 patents, an increase of two companies compared to the previous year.

Data released by the Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Protection Center shows that as of the end of 2025, the top 100 enterprises altogether held 54,300 invention patents, an increase of 5,500 year-on-year, accounting for 9.90% of the total invention patents owned by companies across the province. Enterprises on the list are mainly engaged in six major sectors: 11 in the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry, 10 in the computer, communication, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry, seven in the special-purpose equipment manufacturing industry, six in the ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, four in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and four in the general-purpose equipment manufacturing industry.

It is noteworthy that the nine enterprises with over 1,000 invention patents each hold a total of 23,236 invention patents, accounting for 42.79% of the total patents held by the top 100 enterprises, highlighting their prominent leading role. Among them, Suzhou Yuan-Nao Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is far ahead with 11,221 invention patents; Wuxi Little Swan Electric Co., Ltd. and Kunshan Govisionox Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. follow closely with 2,190 and 1,929 patents, respectively.
