The Wuxi Branch of the National Engineering Research Center for Urban Rail Transit Digital Construction and Evaluation Technology was recently unveiled and established. On the same day, a group signing ceremony for Wuxi Metro technology incubation projects was held, officially launching eight innovation achievement transformation projects covering multiple sectors of rail transit.

Leveraging the strengths of the national-level main center and local advantages, the Wuxi Branch will focus on two core directions: “Smart Urban Rail” and “Green Urban Rail”. By building a complete chain of “Innovation-Application-Promotion”, the center aims to facilitate engineering verification and localized adaptation of laboratory technical achievements across Wuxi Metro and the broader Yangtze River Delta region. At the event, Wuxi Metro released seven major technological achievements and application cases, including through-operation technology for Line S1 and Line 1, BIM construction management platform technology, prefabricated composite integral station system technologies, full-scenario vibration and noise control technology for rail transit, smart lighting technology, tunnel defect repair technology, and “low-altitude + robotics” technology. These innovations cover the entire industry chain from construction to operation and from hardware to software.
