On January 24, the finals of the Third CICAS (China’s Innovation Challenge on Artificial Intelligence Scene) and the National AI Plus Application Scenario Innovation Conference, were held in Suzhou. A total of 113 leading innovation teams from China and overseas competed in the final round. During the event, several flagship reports were released, including the 2025 National Top 10 Best Practice Cities for AI Application Scenario Innovation, the National AI Application Scenario Innovation Top 100 Directory, and the National Top 50 High-Value AI Application Scenario Demonstration Enterprises List.

The event was jointly hosted by the CAAI (Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence), the Suzhou Municipal People’s Government, and Soochow University, and organized by the Gusu District People’s Government. Under the theme of “Scenario-Driven Innovation for a Digitally Empowered Nation”, the competition focused on cutting-edge fields such as large language models, generative AI, the low-altitude economy, and embodied intelligence. The challenge adopted a three-stage competition format—online selection, thematic advancement, and national finals—and featured 49 scenario-based tracks across 15 provinces and cities nationwide. In total, more than 3,250 teams from China and abroad took part in the competition.
