On September 21, the main tower of the Chuhe Cable-Stayed Bridge, part of the Nanjing Grand Bridge on the Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei High-Speed Railway, was capped, marking the beginning of  the next phase of cable installation and deck construction. The bridge is expected to achieve full closure by year-end. Located in Nanjing’s Pukou District, the bridge spans 502 meters in total length with a main span of 260 meters and a 97.5-meter main tower. Featuring a double-tower, double-cable-plane hybrid girder design, it is the most challenging control projects with the largest span and the greatest technological sophistication in the Nanjing section of the  Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei High-Speed Railway.
