On the evening of September 5, Yan’an, Lianyungang, and Wuxi jointly held an event in Wuxi under the theme “Jiangsu Football City League (JSCL) in Wuxi: Jointly Embracing the Bond Between Mountains and Seas” to promote intercity cultural and tourism cooperation.

At the event, the three cities released the Initiative for Multi-dimensional Cooperation among Yan’an, Lianyungang, and Wuxi, pledging to build cross-regional themed tourism routes based on “Water Town Charm-Red Memories-Mountain and Sea Wonders”. These routes will highlight combinations such as “Red Education + Eco-Leisure” and “Cultural Exploration + Coastal Vacation”. The initiative will also promote cooperation among travel agencies, scenic spots, and hotels in the three cities, enabling customer sharing and product promotion, and building an integrated tourism service network.

“Over the years, the three cities have cooperated extensively in official exchanges, industrial development, educational support, and financial assistance, forging a deep bond of ‘alliance between mountains and seas, and mutual support’. Leveraging the popularity of JSCL to promote cultural and tourism integration is another innovative attempt to systematically build a model of ‘Sports + Culture and Tourism’ cooperation,” said an official from the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism. “We will work to transform the enthusiasm generated by JSCL into a real driver for cultural tourism and consumption growth, injecting strong momentum into coordinated cultural and tourism development across the three cities.”
