On July 31, Xin Changxing, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Xu Kunlin, Governor of Jiangsu Province, met with Chen Huaiyu, Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of China (China Eximbank), in Nanjing.

On behalf of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, Xin and Xu expressed their appreciation for China Eximbank’s long-standing support for Jiangsu’s development.

Xin noted that taking the lead in deepening reform and promoting high-standard opening-up is a key mission entrusted to Jiangsu by General Secretary Xi Jinping. He stated that Jiangsu is actively participating in high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, continuously advancing institutional openness, vigorously exploring emerging markets, and expanding international cooperation. In this process, strong financial support is essential. He expressed hope that China Eximbank would fully leverage its strengths, deepen its roots in Jiangsu, and step up support for new forms of foreign trade, enterprises going global, major project development, and the cultivation of new quality productive forces, contributing to the establishment of a new development paradigm.

Chen Huaiyu said that Jiangsu, as a highly-open economic powerhouse, offers great potential for cooperation. China Eximbank will align closely with national strategies and Jiangsu’s developmental priorities, continuously improving the quality and effectiveness of its financial services to support the province’s high-quality development and high-standard opening-up.

Chu Yonghong, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and Zhang Shaohui, Deputy Party Secretary of China Eximbank attended the meeting.
