On June 28, the launch ceremony of Jiangsu Embodied Intelligent Robotics Industry Alliance and Industrial Innovation Development Matchmaking Event were held in Nanjing. Vice Governor Li Zhongjun attended and addressed the event.

The Vice Governor stated that Jiangsu’s embodied intelligent robotics industry possesses significant potential, strong momentum, and vibrant vitality. The establishment of the embodied intelligent robotics industry alliance is an important move to deeply integrate technological and industrial innovation. In the next phase, Jiangsu will thoroughly implement the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech and following the working principle of “utilizing platform synergy, realizing institutional empowerment, considering enterprises as main players, and cultivating an ecosystem”. Jiangsu Province will further elevate the capacities of various provincial-level scientific research platforms, innovation platforms, and technology transfer platforms, and focus on key industries to establish more innovation clusters and industrial alliances, fully leveraging the platforms’ resource integration and collaborative innovation functions. Jiangsu Province will further improve the regular communication and exchange mechanisms, strengthening government-enterprise, research, industrial, and capital connections, and fostering more SMEs that use special and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products, as well as unicorn and gazelle enterprises. Jiangsu Province will further reinforce the dominant role of enterprises in innovation, enhancing the alignment of technologies with the market, scientific achievements with industries, and innovation projects with real productive forces, building a efficiently coordinated innovation system led by enterprises integrating industry, academia, research, and application. Jiangsu Province will further promote better policy coordination, more efficient government services, stronger mutual trust across the supply chain, improved horizontal and vertical communication, and better convergence of the “four chains (innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain, and talent chain)”, increasing support from different factors to provide a favorable ecosystem for the development of the embodied intelligent robotics industry.
