During midsummer, the Shaobo section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal welcomes its peak shipping season. As a “golden artery” for north-south water transport, this segment handles over 300 vessels daily passing through its locks. Goods flow efficiently along this millennium-old waterway, injecting robust momentum into regional economic development along its route.
