The Jiangsu People-to-People Friendship Conference were held in Nanjing on June 12, alongside the 70th anniversary Commemoration of the Jiangsu People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (JSPAFFC). The event attracted more than 100 international guests representing 45 organizations from 23 countries.

Xin Changxing, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, met with foreign guests a day prior to the conference, expressing strong support for non-governmental organizations to deepen exchanges with international friendship groups, with the aim of jointly advancing people-to-people friendship, practical cooperation, cultural exchange and youth engagement.

Xu Kunlin, Governor of Jiangsu, and Yang Wanming, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, delivered speeches at the conference. Other speakers included Irene Pivetti, President of the Italy-China Friendship Association, Bhokin Bhalakula, President of Thai-Chinese Culture and Economy Association, Ante Simonić, President of the Croatian-Chinese Friendship Association, Chea Munyrith, Under Secretary of State of Cambodia, Executive Committee Member of Cambodia-China Friendship Association, Elyn Gregg Cheney Macinnis, initiator of the "Kuliang Friends", and Ioannis Theofanopoulos, Chairman of the Greece-China Friendship Association.

During the event, guests jointly launched a new edition of “Focus on Wonderful Jiangsu”, a campaign led by JSPAFFC to foster international exchange and friendship. JSPAFFC also held dialogues with participating international organizations.
