Jiangsu Province presented over 1,000 cultural products from 30 leading enterprises at the 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, which opened on May 22.

Spanning an area of 600 square meters, Jiangsu’s exhibition area featured a diverse range of cultural innovations. For example, Donghai County-based Daxuan E-commerce showcased a new product crafted using the traditional five-step cloisonné enamel technique. Through platforms such as Amazon, the company has achieved an average overseas order value exceeding 1,000 yuan (US$138) and a repeat purchase rate of 35%.

Fu Jian, a recognized inheritor of Suzhou embroidery, demonstrated the heritage craft live at the event while incorporating patterns from millennia-old bronze ware. Fu has trained over 1,000 people across various regions in China, including Jiangsu, Guizhou, Xinjiang and Qinghai, empowering locals with skills that support employment within their communities.

Also drawing attention was Suzhou-based ROBOTIME, a rising cultural brand specializing in DIY wooden mechanical models and China-chic mystery boxes. The company has established a global sales network that bring contemporary Chinese pop culture to international audiences.

In recent years, Jiangsu's cultural sector has experienced rapid growth, leading the nation in both scale and quality. The province continues to transform its cultural heritage into a competitive economic asset, demonstrating how tradition and innovation can thrive together.
