Recently, the 20th Jiangsu International Forum for School Principals opened in Suzhou. Education practitioners from 16 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Singapore, along with more than 350 representatives from the education system in Jiangsu Province, were gathered to discuss the future when educational internationalization and artificial intelligence are integrated.
At the forum, 46 pairs of Chinese-foreign sister schools were established, such as Changzhou Beijiao High School and Diamond Minds Transformational Leadership Academy of the United States. The “Discover Jiangsu: International Youth Exchange Program 2026” was officially launched. Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange set up the Joint International Workshops on STEM Education in collaboration with schools from Jiangsu Province and from the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Austria and other countries.
Since its launch in 2005, the Jiangsu International Forum for School Principals has facilitated the establishment of more than 2,000 pairs of sister schools between primary and secondary schools from Jiangsu and from overseas. It has directly or indirectly enabled more than 50,000 teachers and students at home and abroad to participate in exchange visits and cooperation in teaching research, curriculum development and other fields.
