By the end of July, 11 Jiangsu local “productions” and Jiangsu-related projects were selected into the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, ranking first in the country. The items are: Kunqu Opera, Guqin Art, Chinese Paper-cutting, Chinese Block Printing Technology (Block Printing Technology), Chinese Block Printing Technology (Jinling Block Printing Technology), Chinese Traditional Architectural Craftsmanship for Timber-framed Structures, Craftsmanship of Nanjing Yunjin Brocade, Sericulture and Silk Craftsmanship of China  (Kesi Silk Weaving), Sericulture and Silk Craftsmanship of China (Song Brocade), Duanwu Festival (Dragon Boat Festival) and China Traditional Tea Making Technology.
