Eight museums in Jiangsu enter the national list of the top 100 popular museums

On April 7, lists for the top 100 popular museums in the first quarter of 2024 were released on Museum Trending Searches by Museum Headlines under the guidance of Art Exhibitions China. Eight museums in Jiangsu were singled out, including China Grand Canal Museum in Yangzhou (7th place), Nanjing Museum (9th place), Suzhou Museum (11th place), Nanjing Museum Administration (26th place), Nantong Museum and the Museum of Wu in Suzhou (both 57th place), Changzhou Museum (64th place), and Deji Art Museum (97th place).

Among the top 30 popular museums in prefecture-level cities, five are in Jiangsu, namely, Suzhou Museum (1st place), Nanjing Museum Administration (3rd place), Nantong Museum (8th place), Changzhou Museum (10th place) and Wuxi Museum (25th place).

Among the top 30 popular county-level museums, eight are in Jiangsu, namely, the Museum of Wu (1st place), Jiangyin Museum (7th place), Yixing Museum (8th place), Changshu Museum (13th place), Hai’an Museum (18th place), Dongtai Museum (26th place), Taicang Museum (27th place) and Zhangjiagang Museum (28th place).

Among the top 30 themed museums, five are in Jiangsu, namely, China Grand Canal Museum (1st place), Nanjing Yunjin Museum (18th place), the Imperial Examination Museum of China in Nanjing (20th place), Jiangsu Jianghai Museum (27th place) and Henry C. Lee Museum of Forensic Sciences in Rugao (28th place).
