From July 15 to 19, the 27th Qinghai · China Investment and Trade Fair for Green Development was held in Xining, Qinghai Province. Vice Governor Shen Jianrong led a Jiangsu delegation to the event.

This edition of the Fair is under the theme of “Open Cooperation, Green Development”. The 120-m2 booth of Jiangsu Province focused on empowering green development on the plateau with new quality productive forces, showcasing innovative achievements in energy storage equipment, low-altitude intelligent equipment, digital computing power, and deep processing of agricultural and livestock products from the plateau. More than 30 premier enterprises from our province participated as exhibitors, with Jiangsu-supported counterpart cities from Western China also participating through their own sub-delegations. The province’s exhibits were precisely aligned with Qinghai’s development needs. Moreover, the exhibition also highlighted the achievements of Jiangsu’s counterpart support to and cooperation with Qinghai, cultural tourism promotion, Jiangsu products, and Jiangsu Football City League.

Leveraging the Fair as a platform, Jiangsu deepened its counterpart support for Qinghai and Eastern-Western China collaboration, with a number of green projects signed. During the Fair, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (hereinafter referred as “Hainan Prefecture”) Investment Promotion and Economic Cooperation Project Signing Ceremony was held, facilitating negotiations and signing of agreements in fields such as clean energy, digital economy, and rural revitalization. As a result, six projects were signed, with a total investment exceeding 3 billion yuan. Several billion-yuan-level energy storage and computing power projects will be established in Hainan Prefecture, contributing to carbon neutrality and carbon peaking and bolstering the country’s “East Data, West Computing” project.

Over the years, Jiangsu has coordinated its efforts in providing counterpart support for Hainan Prefecture and conducting collaboration with the entire Qinghai. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Jiangsu implemented over 1,430 support and cooperation projects, contributing to Qinghai’s endeavor to achieve comprehensive rural revitalization and high-quality economic and social development.
