The Fourth China Conference for Development of Digital Economy, hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF), was recently held in Xiangcheng District of Suzhou City. During the event, the OPC Innovation Scenario Industrial Base was launched, Jiangsu Huatai Guojin Science and Technology Innovation Growth Fund was unveiled, and a series of “AI +” scenarios in Suzhou were presented. A number of digital and intelligent economy project agreements were signed as well.
The OPC Innovation Scenario Industrial Base comprises the six OPC communities in Xiangcheng District, spanning diverse sectors such as cultural creativity, water-related industries, and design innovation. By pooling university resources and industrial strength, it seeks to activate new quality productive forces through scenario-based innovation. Jiangsu Huatai Guojin Science and Technology Innovation Growth Fund, with a total size of RMB 5 billion, focuses on strategic emerging industries, providing strong capital support for regional technological innovation and industrial upgrading. In 2026, Suzhou’s first batch of “AI +” typical application scenarios were released, promoting the deep integration of AI and the real economy in areas such as scientific research, consumption quality upgrading, and international cooperation. This has laid a solid foundation for Suzhou to build an “AI +” city with international influence.
At the event, the agreements of 11 “AI+ Scenario” digital and intelligent economy projects were signed, covering multiple frontier fields including AI, high-end manufacturing, and digital culture.
