The opening match of the 2026 Jiangsu Football City League will kick off on April 11, according to the newly released schedule for the the games.

The opening match will see the highly anticipated Changzhou team playing against Nantong Team, who had not lost a single match during the last regular season. Taizhou team, champion of the 2025 games, will play against Xuzhou team on April 18.

Scheduled to be held on Saturdays, the new season will avoid the hottest period of summer and will have a half-month break in mid-July, which would be welcomed by the fans.
