In the first half of this year, Jiangsu’s border ports recorded 2.387 million inbound and outbound trips, including 223,000 by foreign tourists, a year-on-year increase of 28.3%.

Most foreign visitors to Jiangsu came from South Korea, the Philippines, and Japan. Of the total 394,000 entries by foreigners, 281,000 or 71.3% were made under visa-free policies.

The Jiangsu General Station of Immigration Inspection has continued to enhance its border clearance services by setting up dedicated areas for 240-hour visa-free transit procedures and offering multilingual translation support.
