Hosted by the Nanjing Municipal Government, the 2025 Nanjing Software Industry Expo opened on June 17.

The event aims to provide a platform for communication and collaboration among enterprises and professionals, while fostering the development of new quality productive forces, which means advanced productivity no longer reliant on traditional growth models or conventional development paths.

Two key reports released at the event focused on the development of China’s industrial software industry and the evaluation of high-quality growth in the broader software industry.

In recent years, Nanjing has been committed to its goal of becoming a trillion-yuan software powerhouse. The city has continuously improved its ecosystem for industrial software development.

Meanwhile, the event saw the signing of several agreements, including the Nanjing Industrial Software Application Innovation Center Cooperation Project and the launch of a dedicated fund for industrial software development.

Furthermore, the expo included a series of events, such as exchange among key cities and business matchmaking activities for the robotics sector.
