The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology has confirmed the 2025 list of 13 new innovation platforms.

Launched in 2022, the initiative aims to strengthen enterprises' role in setting research agendas, pool resources, and integrate the industry–academia–research-application innovation chain. Previously, the department announced 25 such collaborative platforms in three batches.

The 13 new platforms are located across five cities—Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and Xuzhou. They bring together around 160 entities, including universities, research institutes and companies across industrial value chains, to carry out joint R&D in emerging and future industries such as artificial intelligence, brain-inspired intelligence, high-end equipment manufacturing, aerospace, and biomedicine.
