Jiangsu Low-Altitude Economy Innovation and Development Symposium Held

The 2025 Jiangsu Low-Altitude Economy Innovation and Development Symposium was held in Nanjing on October 25. It was hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Comprehensive Transportation Society and co-organized by the Low-Altitude Economy Development Industry Research Institute and its partner organizations.

Three academicians and experts delivered cutting-edge academic reports centered on airspace management, intelligent connectivity, safety supervision, and integrated innovation. A sound organizational mechanism has basically emerged in the Low-Altitude Economy Development Industry Research Institute ever since its commencement. All its partner organizations have worked to deliver practical results in areas such as strategic research, technological collaboration, standards setting, and ecosystem building, introduced Shi Heping, Chairperson of Jiangsu Provincial Comprehensive Transportation Society. He added that the Institute will focus on making technological breakthroughs in core areas like low-altitude manufacturing and intelligent management and control, promote deep integration along the industrial chain, and build a pro-development ecosystem. It will also collaborate with all participants to improve the governance of low-altitude activities, and transform Jiangsus strengths in resource, industry, and innovation into new momentum for high-quality development, contributing to the safe, efficient, and sustainable growth of the low-altitude economy.

Currently, a relatively complete low-altitude manufacturing industry chain has emerged in Jiangsu, with nearly 800 upstream and downstream companies contributing an industrial output exceeding 20 billion yuan. There are also over 400 companies in the low-altitude service sector, with revenues approaching 10 billion yuan. Overall, Jiangsu holds a leading position nationwide in areas such as low-altitude manufacturing, innovation platforms, and the integration of industrial capital with financial capital, ranking among the top in terms of composite strength.
