Jiangsu’s 51 time-honored brands and 12 tech companies are participating in the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which opened in Shanghai on November 5.
The Jiangsu pavilion welcomes visitors with the soothing tones of Kunqu Opera. In the crafts and cultural creativity section, visitors can find the charming Da A Fu clay figure, a traditional craft from Huishan District in Wuxi, collaborative designs showcasing gold foil craftsmanship from Nanjing, and 12ml travel-friendly bottles of vinegar from Hengshun, a renowned brand from Zhenjiang.
Also drawing attention are a tea product incorporating elements of the Forbidden City's bricks and an exquisite Suzhou-style gift box themed around the 24 solar terms, containing 24 traditional pastries and 24 seasonal food paintings.
At the CIIE, Jiangsu’s time-honored brand Huafengxiang announced a collaboration intention with LVMH, the largest luxury goods group in the world, to release co-branded designs. Over 100 years ago, Huafengxiang ceramics were exported to Europe via the Maritime Silk Road.
Among Jiangsu enterprises, Lohua Display Technology from Nantong is making its debut at the CIIE. Its chairman Li Yong said that the company’s MLED technology offers higher resolution and lifelike image quality, which can significantly enhance applications of display screen in remote education and online healthcare.
Suzhou-based Dreame Technology is showcasing five innovative products, including a mopping robot and a lawn mower robot. Its latest vacuum and mopping robot features dual legs and arms, enabling it to surpass the coverage limits of traditional cleaning robots. The company's products have successfully entered over 100 countries and regions, with more than 5,500 offline stores worldwide.
In the pavilion, 68-year-old An Guilin is playing the harmonica produced by Jiangsu Swan Musical Instrument, which is based in Maqiao Town of Jingjiang City. Established in 1982, the company has exported half of its harmonicas to over 40 countries and regions.
