Six Overseas Legal Service Centers to be Established by Jiangsu

According to the Meeting on Improving Foreign-related Legal Services in Jiangsu on July 31, six overseas legal service centers will be established by Jiangsu to form a comprehensive foreign-related legal service platform integrating lawyer services, arbitration and mediation.

The six overseas legal service centers will be located in countries along the Belt and Road, including Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Russia, Indonesia, Brazil, and Angola. At present, Jiangsu has established a Belt and Road legal service center in Cambodia, formed five joint construction models of overseas legal service centers, and set up 15 liaison agencies in concentrated area of overseas Jiangsu enterprises. The Belt and Road foreign-related legal service architecture has initially taken shape with Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the north, Ethiopia and the UAE in the west, and Cambodia, India, Indonesia, and Myanmar in the south.
